IDS VK56DE Billet Timing Chain Tensioners

A Pair of billet Mechanical Timing Chain tensioners for the 04-15 VK56DE engines. These will replace the factory plastic timing chain tensioner for something that is far stronger!

Pair these with our billet timing covers and tensioner covers and checking tension is a breeze. No need to remove the main timing cover to check, service or swap out your oem tensioners.

Adjustments can be made with the 19mm hex at the front or a 6mm allen head socket on the back side. 1/2 jam nut locks it in place.

A 1/16 npt plug can be used to plug the factory oil feed hole, or simply putting some rtv sealer on the billet tensioners machined face will keep out any internal oil leaks.
