VK56 Thermostat Housing Block Off Plate

Converting these engine to an electric water pump means removing the big and ugly thermostat housing that sits on top of the engine. These plate will seal the opening left for a clean and permanent install. They feature a 1/8 NPT tapped hole that can be used to measure coolant pressure, feed a water cooled turbo or any other use you can have for coolant. Install the included 1/8 NPT plug if you don’t have any use for the port. 

They are CNC machined out of 1/2″ thick 6061-T6 Aluminum and black anodized. They also have a captive O-Ring for a perfect reusable gasket-less seal. 

Be sure to add a lowerdollar 150 psi pressure sensor to complete your plate!
